The engineering industry’s top awards event for project excellence will once again present a dazzling live celebration at the upcoming Engineering Excellence Awards (EEA) Dinner and Gala awards show, to be held Tuesday, June 13, 2023, at the Grand Hyatt in downtown Washington, D.C.
The black-tie Gala, held as part of the 2023 ACEC Annual Convention, is the nation’s most prestigious celebration of engineering excellence.
This year’s Gala will honor 179 projects from throughout the nation and the world and reveal winner of the 2023 Grand Conceptor Award, which signifies the year’s top engineering achievement.
Winner of the 2023 Grand Conceptor Award will remain a secret until Gala night.
The original Gala Maestro—six-time Emmy Award-winning author, comedian, and TV Host Ross Shafer- will host the EEA Gala again.
Shafer is a six-time Emmy Award-winning TV broadcaster and comedian credited with helping grow the Gala—now in its 56th year—into the industry’s most prestigious awards event. Legendary Talk Show Host Jay Leno still refers to Shafer as “the funniest man I know!”.
