Mastering AI Adoption: Essential Guidelines for ACEC Members

Please join the co-chairs of the ACEC Subcommittee on Artificial Intelligence, Catherine Bragg, JD, MBA, CIPP/US, SVP and General Counsel for TRC, and Mark Blankenship, CPCU, AIC, LEED AP, Director of Risk Management for Willis A&E, for a discussion of recommended policies for adoption of artificial intelligence in an engineering firm.

During this 60-minute session, the Subcommittee will:

• Review governance including approvals and authorizations
• Identify sources and tools for generated content and review requests, and define  unapproved uses of AI
• Examine guidelines for practice, including how to handle confidential information, keeping the client in the loop, and making the output your own
• Discuss warnings, including ethical use, accuracy or lack thereof, intellectual property rights, limitations, bias, cross-border considerations
