The nation’s only organized effort to showcase great infrastructure and emphasize the need for a new workforce will be in Wylie, Texas, at 1 p.m., April 16, to showcase the North Texas Municipal Water District’s $1.6 billion Bois d’Arc Lake Water Supply Program.

The American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC), the American Public Works Association (APWA), and the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) have collaborated since 2022 to present the Engineering & Public Works Roadshow.

The Bois d’Arc stop will be the Roadshow’s 16th.

Anchored by Texas’ first major reservoir in almost 30 years, the Bois d’Arc system serves some of the fastest-growing communities in Texas and the nation and is an excellent example of great engineering and public works.

Media coverage is welcome. The event will be live streamed on X.
