Engineering Roadshow Stops in Miami

On Friday, February 14 the Engineering and Public Works Roadshow made its first stop of 2025 in Miami, Florida to spotlight the SR-836/I-395/I-95 Design-Build project and its Signature Bridge now under construction and designed by ACEC member firm HDR.  The project is considered Miami’s “big dig,” which will make driving safer and more efficient in one of the city’s busiest districts.  The Signature Bridge will tear down barriers, connecting multiple communities that were separated by highways and create new community open space that will encourage economic development.

ACEC Vice Chair Peter Moore, President and CEO of Chen Moore & Associates, spoke on behalf of ACEC at the event, where he called on students in Florida and across the nation to consider a career in engineering.  Watch the event here:
