L.I. Smith & Associates Marks E-Week with Luncheon and Field Trip

L.I. Smith & Associates celebrated Engineers Week 2025 by hosting an internal staff luncheon. Company president, Patrick Smith, PE, PLS, also took the engineering team on a “field trip” around the city of Paris, Tennessee, to assess drainage issues from a recent flood event. This real-world example allowed firm engineers to analyze this critical issue facing their community and discuss potential solutions.

The University of Tennessee at Martin’s College of Agriculture and Applied Sciences Engineering banquet, which company employees will attend, has been rescheduled for March 18. At the banquet current civil engineering students will present their senior research projects.
